Let loose the dogs of war...

News / WoW Related   2008-11-12 by Calen   (1)

King Varian Wrynn yells: Take your flying fortresses back to Northrend, before I crush them with my bare hands!

So, finally, in about 19 hours we get to step foot on Northrend, taking the fight to Arthas himself. Excited? I am. I hope everyone gets to register, and get online asap, and manage to actually stay online :p

Good luck with your Death Knights, and the levelling everyone, and welcome to the new age of WoW gaming!

Calen and the staff!

WOTLK Approaching!

News / Guild News   2008-10-30 by Calen   (0)

I would like to thank everyone for the amazing time that I have had within the boundaries of Burning Crusade, and would like to welcome to the brand new exciting future that is Wrath of the Lich King!

In a few weeks, we will have new areas to explore, new things to raid and a new big evil to kill! I hope everyone is ready ^^

In other news, I would like to welcome Triumph and Nymphy back to the fold. I'm sure everyone will get to know them, soon enough.
Their new nicks are Tsukiyomi and Phiri, respectively. We are also expecting Grymmis to return to us, however, he is speed levelling some chars on another server, to make use of the RAF bonus, and then transfer over, as far as I could make out of the conversations!

Now if only Uthor, Allegra and the rest could get their asses over to our realm...

Dual-Spec feature to be revealed during Blizzcon

News / WoW Related   2008-10-08 by Calen   (0)

Seems we might still get our Dual Spec... But probably wont be in, until a patch in WotLK. Also, as a note: Blizzcon starts on 10th of October (That is this Friday).

Ghostcrawler
Furthermore, don't expect us to be ripping up every other talent tree in the game at this stage. We will continue to change talent effects before Lich King ships, but don't expect a lot more massive rejuggling of the trees themselves. The dual-spec feature will shine more light on talent design (more on that at Blizzcon) and we'll have a better idea of what we want to do with trees when that goes live. Some talent trees are nice and lean, and some probably have some points we could trim here and there.

Raidcomp

News / WoW Related   2008-10-08 by Calen   (0)

New feature on MMO-Champion - Raidcomp

Raid composition is an important aspect of WoW PvE. RaidComp (from now on denoted as RC) aims to be to raid compositions what talent calculators are to talent specs; allowing everyone to play around with and share different raid compositions online. RC also helps raid leaders by giving an overview of the different buff and debuff categories. It won't do all the thinking for you, raid optimization is complex, however it should be able to do most of the grunt work and highlight some of the categories and abilities you need to look closer at.

Rightous Crusade is back!

News / Guild News   2008-10-06 by Calen   (3)

Former members is welcome back to the fold, as we prepare to set foot on Northrend. Help the Crusade rid Azeroh of the Scourge, once and for all!

We're starting to get well established on Dragonmaw now, and with the launch of Wrath fast approaching, and the 3.0.2 update, 2-3 weeks prior to the launch, I would like to take this time to welcome and invite former Crusaders back to the guild, and come join us for the Wrath expansion.

I promise tons of the good old fun, and half the drama (hopefully, always gonna be drama, in some format) :p Also, we will be raiding, how hard we go for that, is upto the members the day we hit 80 and get geared, ofcourse, as always. Although the final decision on that, still lies with the leadership, if a decision on that can't be reached in a menial way.

So, a little stuff out of the way.. I hope to see you on Dragonmaw, side by side with our members, new and recently returned!

Welcome back, Crusader. Welcome back to the Righteous Crusade!

Still recruiting!

News / Guild News   2008-09-10 by Calen   (0)

We still want to get to more people of all levels and races, with a mature mindset, above 16 minimum.
Feel free to get in contact with any of our Officers for more information and interviews, or leave an applications on our website.

Also as a note, we will raid in Wrath, but probably not until then. If wished we will do some Kara, we will see what people want. If we actually got a good main tank, we could get going pretty quick for Kara action.

So anyways, we can offer guild bank, tabard, Ventrilo and fully experienced raid leaders for our raiding in Wrath of the Lich King. Perhaps we will even try to get some server firsts :p Time will show...

Any questions regarding our plans for Wrath and such, can be directed to me, Calen.

Anyways, later!

WotLK Beta Opt-In is open for both EU and US

News / Blizzard Related   2008-07-04 by Aeonz   (0)

Eyonix
Today we opened the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In program, which gives players a chance to win an invitation to the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King beta. For The Burning Crusade beta, we randomly invited players from the entire World of Warcraft community. With the Opt-In, our goal is to strengthen the beta-testing process by inviting only those players who have expressed active interest in participating.

Keep in mind that opting in doesnt guarantee you be selected for the beta. And players who ve previously been promised beta access through a promotion or contest (such as by purchasing the Dell XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition notebook) don`t need to worry -- you still be entered into the beta automatically when the time comes.

To opt in to the Wrath of the Lich King beta, visit the link below:
EU - https://www.wow-europe.com/account/beta-opt-in.html

So go and opt in guys!

Blizzard confirms unannounced 4th Game

News / Blizzard Related   2008-07-03 by Aeonz   (0)

Rob Pardo in an interview with Onlinewelten.com confirmed they have a fourth unannounced project, a next-gen MMO which obviously was not Diablo 3. Also in a recent interview published yesterday by Gamasutra, Paul Sams (Blizzard chief operating officer) is hinting at a new franchise. Hopefully we might learn more about it this year at the BlizzCon 2008.

Blizzard
A few months ago you offered a job on the official Blizzard webpage, considering a Next-Gen MMO. A community Manager added, that's it about game, that has not been announced yet. Is there any new information on that, or is Diablo 3 the mentioned Next-Gen MMO?
No obviously not, since it is not MMO! We have another dev-team, that is...

So there is still one project?
Yeah, there is still one "unknown project"...

Some updates!

News / Guild News   2008-07-02 by Calen   (0)

We are still recruiting and gotten in some cool people from some diverse places! This seems to be a nice reroll for Righteous Crusade, and I'm having fun again, which is the main thing.

Looking forward to seeing more people applying to our guild, while we remake it and all.

If you are looking to apply, you can that here.

Also, I will be making a site for D3 discussion, and so on. Also, I would like to ask if anyone plays any other games, and want them represented in some way or sort, on the website, please PM me, and I will consider it. You can PM me with other questions aswell ;)
